Due to restricted horse accommodation after storm damage the trials for 21 March at Taupo have been restricted in numbers – 170 horses to trial over 27 heats. The  1000m, 1200m and 1400m maiden heats have been deleted.

These cancelled events will be prioritised at the next grass trial meeting which have been scheduled again at Taupo on Tuesday 28 March. This is as per the revised Trial Elimination Regulations.
