With Whangarei now racing on Saturday 24 September in lieu of Avondale they are unable to trial on Tuesday 20 September. A set of trials have been programmed for Cambridge on that day.

On Tuesday 27 September there will be trials at Waipa. These trials will be restricted to 130-150 runners. There have been multiple jumpouts held on the Waipa track and both the RIB and Waikato track manager are pleased with the way this track has presented to date. There has also been a new plastic running rail put in at this venue. To complement Waipa a set of trials have been scheduled for Ruakaka on Thursday 29 September.
