The Interprovincial, which was cancelled on 20 August, will run as the Open 1800m race at New Plymouth on Saturday 17 September. The stake for this race will now be $60,000.

Horses will be selected to represent each region by Taranaki RI and they will race in the colours of the province that they are representing.

Taranaki Racing have the final decision over selection of the field.

Free early nominations close Tuesday 6th September with the National Racing Bureau.
