An inspection of the track at New Plymouth was undertaken on Friday morning by Race Club Officials.

With significant surface water already present after a massive amount of rain over the last 48 hours and a forecast for ongoing rain including on race day the decision has been made to abandon the meeting scheduled for Saturday 20 August.

We will look at the possibility of splitting or adding races over the coming weeks where required.

The intention is to move the ITM Interprovincial Race to the Xtreme Raceday at New Plymouth on Saturday 17 September.
