An 1100m trial (maximum two heats) will be held prior to the Taupo races on Wednesday 24 August. This trial will be for horses that have been placed 1^st to 4^th  in a Group race with preference give to horses that have run 1^st to 3^rd. Nominations for this trial will be due on 19th August at 12.00pm (same time as race meeting nominations close).
