Due to the current spike in Covid positives nationwide the weights for ALL flat races will be increased 1kg at final withdrawal time from 30 March to 10 April inclusive, with a possible extension to meetings up to and including 18 April. This decision was arrived at after consultation with industry groups including clubs and both the trainers’ and jockeys’ associations. This will assist any rider returning to racing after a period of illness.
