The Tauherenikau track was inspected this morning at around 10am by the RIB and Club representatives. The track had received approximately 50mm of rain through to Sunday morning with more significant rain to come during Sunday. There is currently some surface water on the track and inconsistencies with the surface. A decision has been made, in the interests of safety, that we can’t race at Tauherenikau this week. NZTR is currently looking at the option of a replacement meeting. More information to follow.
