Attendances at Race Meetings

Under Level 2 Protocols, decisions are made by clubs or by NZTR whether a race meeting may cater to and safely host managed groups.
Owners letters for race meetings will also make this clear and will provide pre-booking requirements for meetings where limited attendances are provided.

Closed Door Meetings

The following meetings will be run as ‘closed door’ meetings:

Saturday 27th                Racing Te Aroha races

Monday 29th                  Matamata RC trials

Limited Attendances

Respective clubs have decided that the following meetings will provide for limited pre-booked attendances for owners, sponsors or other defined groups:

Saturday 27th                Wanganui JC races

Sunday 28th                  Otago RC @ Cromwell races

Wednesday 1st Dec      Racing Rotorua races

Thursday 2nd                 New Plymouth races

Please contact respective clubs for details.
Attendees admitted to these meetings must adhere to restrictions on movement, and requirements to scan on entry and wear masks.

Racing’s transition to the “Traffic Light” COVID Protection Framework

From Friday 3rd December, race or trials meetings will be conducted in accordance with the prevailing ‘traffic light’ setting in the relevant region.  Therefore to gain entry, owners, members, sponsors and other patrons MUST PROVE that they are double vaccinated against the COVID virus by showing their ‘My Vaccine Pass’ at entry.

If a meeting is held under the RED traffic light (unless in exceptional circumstances – approved by NZTR) there will no longer be ‘Closed Meetings’ but attendances must be limited by the club.  Relevant clubs will advise and can be contacted for details of admission.
