NEW ZEALAND CUP MEETING IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Licence holders please note the following significant changes to what has operated at previous Riccarton Park racedays. These changes are necessary due to the greater number of owners, sponsors and members attending the NZ Cup Meeting.
• All Licence Holders vehicle entry is via the Steadman Road entrance.
• Jockeys parking is on the lawn behind the Grand National (Public) Grandstand.
• Trainers, and officials and others critical to the running of the meeting can park on the shingle behind the Grand National Stand and the lawn behind the Red Pumphouse.
• Trainers and stable staff have the Owners Pavilion and Marquee adjacent to it as a lounge for refreshments, watching races and relaxing between races. The Nightmarch Room is not available as it has been allocated to owners.
• Viewing is from reserved seating in front of the Gloaming Room which is accessed by the steel staircase by the Weighing Room. Entry is through the chute from the Parade Ring.
• A fenced in compound captures the carparks, tie-up stalls, Owners Pavilion and Marquee, Parade Ring, Birdcage and viewing area. Licence holders are also reminded of the requirement to move only within this restricted area and not to mix with other groups on-course.
• Scan the ‘NZ Cup Meeting Racing Operations’ QR Code. This is a different one to what the other attendees will scan and will be available throughout the compound.

HORSE FLOAT PARKING: All horse floats are to use the containment area.
Trainers and horse float operators are advised that it is a requirement of the CJC H&S policy that all floats unload and load within the confines of the contained Float Park. Horses must not be unloaded or loaded anywhere other than within this area. Horse floats must enter the Racecourse from the Steadman Road gate.
RACEDAY STALLS: Given the probability of a high number of starters and the resulting pressure on tie-up stalls Trainers are asked to work together in managing the use of tie-up stalls. Please do not leave vacant stalls between you and your neighbour. Any reserved stalls will be released if horses have nowhere to go. Please return horses to the Visitors/Permanent Stables as soon as possible after racing.
Two extra stalls have been created by shifting the Clerks of Course to the Farrier area, eight new outdoor tie-up stalls facing the Grand National Stand have been built and the two small yards have been brought into the area by re-aligning fencing. This creates an additional 12 places for horses resulting in 132 in total.
