Today’s post-Cabinet meeting signalled that Waikato would move to Alert Level 3 Step 2 from 11.59pm on Tuesday 2 November.  Cabinet also announced that it had made the in-principle decision for Auckland to also move to Alert Level 3 Step 2 on Tuesday 9 November.

The Alert Level changes announced today have no impact on trial and race meetings being held, with restrictions remaining in place regarding large gatherings.

Regions outside Waikato and Auckland remain at Alert Level 2, with the existing regulations in place regarding numbers attending race meetings and trials.
