Meeting News
Cambridge and Taupo now one meeting at Taupo on Wednesday
The Cambridge meeting scheduled for Wednesday 8 September has been abandoned and the Taupo meeting will transfer from the Tuesday to the Wednesday.
The number of nominations across both meetings strongly suggests that one meeting is the optimum result with 19 of the 45 single nominations at Cambridge already nominated for Taupo, which had 80 nominations (including Cambridge nominations) at midday Friday. All races will remain open until Saturday 4 September at 9am. All nominations will be treated as originals. Any single nomination from Cambridge will need to nominate with the bureau if they wish to run at Taupo. Furthermore the R65 2000m race programmed for Cambridge will now be programmed at Taupo to make an 8th race.
One ‘group trial’ with 10 horses will also be held prior to race 1 at Taupo. This trial has closed.
Cambridge Synthetic races are scheduled again on Wednesday 15 September.
