It is intended to press on and plan for racing on Saturday and Sunday.

The Whangarei meeting will not be held. A meeting will be scheduled on the Cambridge Synthetic track for Saturday as a replacement meeting. Horses nominated for Whangarei will be transferred into like races at the Cambridge meeting. They can withdraw for no fee. The exception will be that The Cambridge Stud Northland Breeders Stakes (G3) is postponed and will take place at Te Rapa on 28 August (tbc).

Nominations for the new Cambridge meeting will remain open until midday, Wednesday 18 August. Withdrawals for this meeting will close at 1.00pm. Given the circumstances, there may be a delay to releasing the fields (post the 1pm withdrawal closing), but we are hopeful they can be released around 2pm.  All nominations will be treated as originals. Please, if possible, nominate and withdraw on-line as phone access may be limited. If you have no on-line facility, we will also accept email communication through [email protected]
