A track inspection of the Oamaru track was carried out on Tuesday 10th August by Todd Treweek, NZTR Track Advisor, Mark Davidson from the Racing Integrity Board and representatives of the Oamaru Jockey Club.

The track was found to have improved significantly since the last meeting on the 25^th of July. A penetrometer was done Wednesday, 11th August where the track was just into the Heavy 10 range and improving.
