The Waipa track was inspected this morning in relation to holding a restricted set of trials at the venue on Tuesday. Club representatives, a number of RIU Stewards, senior rider Sam Collett, the NZTR track adviser and the Waikato RC track manager were all satisfied with the track in terms of running the trials. The trials will be limited to 100 horses with 1150m heats the first to be cancelled if deletions are required.
