ACCESS TO SADDLING ENCLOSURE
Following consultation with the New Zealand Trainers’ Association & Racing Clubs, it has been agreed that entry to the Saddling Enclosures at all thoroughbred racing venues will be restricted to Licensed Trainers & Registered Persons. In conjunction with this directive, the minimum age for staff to enter these areas is 14 years unless a Stipendiary Steward has granted prior approval. In order to enforce this policy, Licensed Trainers and Licensed Persons must display their official NZTR ID card to gain access to the Saddling Enclosure areas on raceday.

COVID Level 2 restrictions will apply at this meeting.

• Please advise the club of all names of your staff attending by Thursday at 2pm and a contact phone number (WJC – [email protected] / 06 345 3968 or text 027 423 6735)
• You and your staff MUST complete the attached Health questionnaire (prior to the day so not to hold up entry) and hand it to the gate staff please
• Gate staff will thermometer test persons from 8.30am onwards
• Masks must be worn in the birdcage, weigh room and at the starting gates
• Be responsible for your own personal hygiene and physical distancing requirements throughout the day
• The Veandercross café will be open for food and beverages
