There may have been many changes to the Ellerslie racecourse of recent, but one thing that remains and will always be an iconic piece of Ellerslie tradition is the familiar sound of the bugle heard before each race. One very special man has been a part of this tradition for the past 7 years, and with an incredible background like his its no surprise he was the perfect man for the job! We caught up with John 'The Trumpetguy' McGough recently to learn all about his very important race day role!
