Quintabelle

She had a tail breeze behind her but her closing sectionals were still outstanding. She is still improving and should be at her peak for her big assignment in November.

Race 6 Taupo, 11 October

Fancy Like Lass

She was caught 3 wide early and snagged back. Her finishing burst was in the best sectionals of the race. She can lead or race off the pace and looks hard to beat wherever she goes next up.

Race 8 Waverley, 12 October

Miyazawa

She did very well after a slow start to charge home for second in the best sectionals. She is out of 7 win mare St Jessie and looks to have the family ability.

Race 3 Hastings, 14 October

Textbook

After settling back from the wide draw, he came home strongly for third in the best sectionals. That was his first run over a middle distance this campaign and he should improve off that.

Race 6 Hastings 14 October 

Not Guilty

At his second start after a spell he set a torrid pace and was run down for his second placing. He will be very hard to beat next up.
