Brontes Gold comes into this off the back of a 10L trial win in good time over the 1550m on the synthetic last month, where he was bowling along under his own steam for the entirety. He maps to be handy to the speed without having to work overly hard early, with the likes of Lebowski and El Paso being the only other obvious on-speed runners engaged here. Tayla Mitchell claims 2kg, which should see him be very competitive in this lineup.  

Race 8 - #3 WESTWOOD (WIN)

Westwood is a very speedy 3yo filly who has been mixing it with strong 3yo company of late. She’s drawn low (2) over the 970m trip, which should see her leading this field. Although the speed and pressure in the race will certainly be strong, I believe Westwood’s class should carry her a long way if she finds the rail and lead in this R65 field.
