Race 3 Matamata, 29 March

What You Wish For 

From the wide draw she snagged back, then came the widest on the turn, and put in the fastest sectionals of the day to get up for second. It looks like Te Akau have another good one.

 

 

Sectional Standouts

Race 7 Matamata, 1 April 

Mister Roshan

After jumping ok, he had to snag back for cover and got well back. He came home strongly for second in good sectionals. Third up over 1600m will suit.

 

Race 5, Awapuni 1 April

Jaffira

From last he put in some telling strides late to run the fastest last 200m. He prefers a wet track and when he gets that, watch out for him.

 

Race 6 Awapuni, 1 April

Synchronize

He may have only finished seventh, but his closing 200 metres out wide on the track, was the second best for the race. The wide draw didn’t help and he can atone next up.

Race 4 Awapuni, 1 April

Boston Strong Boy

After setting an even pace to the turn, he stuck on very strongly to finish second in good sectionals. He will pick up another win soon.
