There was a new trophy presented at this year's Milan Park Stud Northern Apprentice School Awards, the Taiki Yanagida Award - Most Dedication to succeed, which was deservedly won by Taiki's good friend Yuto Kumagai. Sponsored by a number of key people within Taiki's life, the award was created to commemorate an apprentice who is diligent, hard working and determined, which Taiki Yanagida displayed in abundance.
