That makes it two strong seconds in a row for this well-bred three-year-old filly. The winner got all favours near the front, while she did plenty of extra work to get home in the best closing sectionals. She will be well placed to win third-up.

Wewillrock Race 9 Rotorua 1 December 

From the wide draw, he covered much more ground than the first two who had a softer runs up front. Nice looking galloper who looks suited to a little more ground now.

Amazon Goddess Race 7 Riccarton Park 3 December 

She was awkwardly away and got well back, but was making up good ground late to run eighth in the second best last 200m of the race. Looks a quick improver second-up.
