What made you want to pursue a career in racing? Growing up in Takanini it was all we knew!

What do you love most about racing? When you win, you don’t have to make any excuses. 

What has been a career highlight for you? Hong Kong International Mile (Sunline, 2000). 

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received? Don’t try and get a horse ready the week of the race because by then, it’s too late (Colin Jillings)

If you weren’t in racing, what would your job be? Golfer. Although i'm actually no good, so would probably be a caddy. 

If you could switch lives with someone for the day, who would it be? George Simon - I wanted to be a commentator when I was a kid. 

If you could invite three people to dinner, living or dead, who would you invite? Gary Player, Rowan Atkinson, Dua Lipa. 

Favourite TV show? The Chase. 

Favourite food? A good steak. 

What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you? I love vacuuming.
