LINCOLN KING: Big effort for second behind the pacemaker after getting well off the pace and coming through with a solid finishing effort. He’s got a decent win in him sometime soon.

VAINGLORY: Put up a huge finishing run from well back over a distance that was too sharp and short for her.  She will be a dangerous lightweight in the open stayers’ race on the opening day of Cup Week.

Trentham 26^th October

GUILLADA: She had her chance in the feature event before finishing fourth. That’s two handy runs over 1600m at her last two starts, so look out for her when she steps up in trip.
