THE BELVOIR had quite a following ahead of his raceday debut in the maiden 1200 and would have lost no admirers with a decent enough fourth placing. The Samantha Logan-trained gelding got well out of his ground before mounting a solid finish along the inside. Stay with him.

CAMINO ROCOSO is in for another big season judging by his fresh-up effort over 1600 metres. After settling in the body of the field he was tight for room when it mattered and after finally working into the clear he found the line well to be close up in fourth.
