You have enjoyed much success in your career thus far, which is most special to you?
Volpe Veloce in the Group 1 Sistema Railway. My brother Regan was on-course too, which made it all the more special.
Aside from the racing, what is your favourite part of a raceday?
Seeing everyone dressed up and having a good time.
If you weren’t in racing, what would you be?
A cattle farmer.
What is your favourite racecourse to ride at?
Ellerslie.
Of all the horses you’ve ridden, who is your favourite?
Definitely Volpe Veloce! She gave me my first group 1 which was a big moment for me.
Within the racing industry, who do you look up to?
Lance O’Sullivan - he’s a tough but good mentor.
What was the last song you listened to?
‘Bad’ by XXX Temptation.
If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
John Wayne - an old country/ western actor.
If you could travel to one place in the world, where would it be?
Hong Kong, there is a good nightlife and great racing.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I can play the didgeridoo.
