2. How did you get involved in racing:

Through my background in equestrian sports and my love for the horse.

3. If you hadn’t been in racing what would you have done:

Pursued a career in showjumping or become a pastry chef.

4. Greatest dislikes:

Negativity and freeloaders.

5. Event in the world you’d like to attend:

World Equestrian Games.

6. Where in the world would you like to visit:

I would like to see more of Europe. The architecture and history intrigue me…

7. Greatest place you’ve visited:

Aachen, Germany. In 2018 for the annual CHIO. 7 days of witnessing the highest level of all equestrian disciplines.

8. What do you enjoy outside racing:

Travelling, all equestrian sports, tennis, and good food wine and company.

9. Childhood hero:

Nick Skelton (Showjump Rider) was a star at an early age and was still able to win an individual Olympic gold medal at the age of 58 having nursed his horse Big Star back from a career threatening injury 18 months earlier.

10. Best thing about racing:

The horses.

11. Favourite horse(s):

All of my group 1 winners hold a special place in my heart.

12. Best race you’ve seen:

The Cox Plate every year. It is a stunning test for horse and rider at the very fair WFA scale… It almost always is the best horse that wins.

13. Biggest thrill in racing:

Winning Group 1 races (33 to date)

14. What changes would you like to see in racing:

More consistent training and racing surfaces.

15. Most admired person in racing:

The owner.

16. Best advice you’ve been given:

The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary.
