Woodville and Pahiatua were separate Racing Clubs until they amalgamated in 1986. The club now has members from all over with the central districts including Woodville, Pahiatua and Dannevirke. Woodville Racecourse is nestled below the Tararua and Ruahine ranges with windmills standing as sentinels, which has made Woodville “The Windmill Capital of New Zealand”. The Woodville-Pahiatua Racing Club (Inc) races several times a year.
Membership: Annual subscription $45. Includes:
* Free entry to racecourse at all meetings
* Access to Members Stand at all meeting

Woodville-Pahiatua Cup Day – January - Interislander Summer Festival Woodville Races
Head along to the Woodville Racecourse for a day of fun in the sun as the Tararua community comes together to celebrate 2014 in style. Pack up the family, grab a picnic for a great family day out. With a unique blend of Kiwiana and country racing there'll be something to keep all entertained, including the 'Great Kiwi Banger Bash' where a selection of gourmet sausages will be pitted against one another for the Supreme Banger Award. There will be plenty of children's entertainment available all day that will keep the kids busy while you sit back, relax and enjoy the racing action.
