Avondale J.C.
The Club was founded in 1889 when Avondale was a rural farm settlement on the outskirts of Auckland. Horse racing was known in the district as far back as 1864 when there was racing at Henderson’s Mill and at Helensville. Today the Avondale Jockey Club stages 5 fixtures each season, and races on a right-handed 1800m track.
Membership: Annual subscription $60.00. Discounted rates are available for senior citizens.
