Due to heavy rain predictions, largely for Saturday afternoon and evening, the decision has been made to postpone the Te Aroha meeting until Thursday 3 September. This decision has been made (after talking to the club) early in the interests of trainers, riders and horses that are travelling on Saturday.

If another 30mm of rain is received on Saturday then the meeting would be marginal at best. Multiple forecasters are currently suggesting this amount, or more, to be the case. Metservice are currently showing a heavy rain warning for the region through to 5am Sunday.

New nominations will be called. They close at noon on Monday 31 August with withdrawals Tuesday at 10am. Preference will be given to horses previously in the fields.
