A barrier incident in Race 4 at New Plymouth today resulted in significant damage to the starting gates. Race 4 was declared a “No race” and Races 5 to 8 had to be abandoned.

The incident could not have been foreseen.

NZTR will look to accommodate additional starters at next Friday’s Woodville-Pahiatua RC race meeting (19/6), with the ability to add and divide races to meet demand. More information to follow in this regard.
