All horses nominated in the OPN 1100m, MDN 4YO&UP 1100m, MDN 4YO&UP 800m, as well as majority of the MDN 3YO 1100m have been eliminated (84 horses). These horses will get preference at the next set of grass trials should the distance be held (Tauranga).

 

Trials Fees $125.00 + riding fee Standard NZTR regulations apply. All Trainers are advised that horses participating in races and trials must wear racing plates or specifically approved shoes such as glue on shoes. Work shoes are not permitted to be used in races or trials and any horse presented wearing unapproved plates or shoes will be scratched and the trainer may be charged.
