Gore Guineas Rescheduled

 

The Gore Guineas has been rescheduled to Saturday 4 April at Riverton and will be run over the reduced distance 1200m. The stake remains at $80,000.

It was not possible to run the Guineas as part of the series including the Southland and Dunedin Guineas. At the request of Gallop South, and with approval from the NZ Pattern Committee, it was decided to move this race to the Autumn. Running the Gore Guineas over 1200m gives it a point of difference from the longer distance 3YO fillies races that follow at Riccarton.
