As part of Wanganui’s Return to Racing, horses galloped yesterday with all jockeys happy with the track ahead of their next race meeting, Saturday 15 March.

Following the previous abandonment at Wanganui it was identified that there was a rail alignment issue that contributed to horses slipping.  A discussion has taken place regarding the rail and a solution found for the Club, NZTR, RIB and Jockeys Association to proceed with confidence into their next race date and beyond.
