The Hawke’s Bay RI have provided the following update ahead of their highly anticipated Spring Carnival.

The track is currently rated Soft 7. Hastings has received 45mm of rain so far for the month of August. There are showers forecast for this weekend (Less than 5mm) and next week looks mainly fine with temperatures forecast to reach as high as 22 degrees.

 The rail will be in True position for the first day of the carnival on Saturday, 7 September. This rail position hasn’t been used since 28 February, 2024.
