The trustees of the Travis Trust will provide a transport subsidy for South Island trained horses to travel to Te Rapa for the Travis Stakes on Saturday April 27. This Group 2 Fillies and Mares 2000m contest will be run for $150,000 and the trust will make available $1500 for any South Island trained horse that starts in the Travis Stakes to help defray travel costs.

This is a great incentive for South Island trained fillies/mares to travel.
