The stake for the Legacy Lodge Waikato Guineas Group 2 2000m to be staged at Te Rapa on Wednesday 31 January will now be $160,000. This $10,000 stake increase is due to the on-going wonderful sponsorship provided to Waikato Thoroughbred Racing by Legacy Lodge. As part of a twilight meeting this race will be staged later in the programme to allow trainers the opportunity to get to Te Rapa from the NZB National Yearling Sales.
