Following the receipt of an initial report from NZSTI the Canterbury Jockey Club raceday scheduled for Friday 2 December will be transferred to the Synthetic Track. This will allow the Turf Renovation that had been scheduled post this meeting to begin immediately, this will also include decompaction of the racing surface.

Further updates will follow once all reports and actions have been finalised. The 2000m races will now be run over 2100m.
