Due to the unavailability of both the Wanganui and Awapuni Tracks for the remainder of the season NZTR, in consultation with a number of clubs and TAB NZ, have revised the dates and venue schedule in the Central Region through to 31 July 2022. These changes have taken into account track availability, potential wagering impacts and servicing requirements (TAB NZ). NZTR thanks the affected clubs, GRNZ for accommodating a change to their schedule and TAB NZ for their co-operation. There may be minor distance alterations to follow.  As an aside it is currently predicted that the Awapuni synthetic track will be available for training use from August. This will mean that the grass track at Awapuni will be once again available for racing in the new season. NZTR will address any dates issues for the new season with clubs and TAB NZ as a separate exercise. The changes for the remainder of this season are as follows:

Friday 1 July                       Taranaki RI at New Plymouth (originally no meeting on this day)

Saturday 9 July                  Hawke’s Bay Racing at Hastings (originally Marton JC at Awapuni)

Sunday 10 July                  Egmont RC at Hawera (This meeting is now staying on Sunday 10 July)

Thursday 14 July               Woodville-Pahiatua RC at Woodville (originally Wanganui JC at Wanganui)

Thursday 28 July               Waverley RC at Waverley (originally Manawatu RC at Awapuni)
