Thursday October 8 saw jumpouts held on the course proper at Waipa in preparation for trials on Tuesday October 20.

RIU steward Brady Jones along with NZTR Tracks Advisor, Todd Treweek were in attendance. It was agreed the track progress to staging trials as planned.

The trials on October 20 will be restricted to around 100 runners as the track returns from significant renovations.
