Standing Rock lifted the trophy at the Milford NZ Polo Open after a hard-fought 16-13 battle. The final also marked the last game for one of John Paul Clarkin’s favourite mares, Sublime. After the match, JP reflected on the win and on her performance in the final. Sublime, a daughter of The Bold One out of Stargroves, has been an integral part of JP’s lineup for many seasons. Now she retires from polo and begins her next chapter as a broodmare.
