Always a fan favourite, the LOVERACING.NZ Pony Scurry Series returned to Ruakaka on Saturday and the first heat was won in a dazzling display by last seasons champion, Cruze Du Plessis! The son of Champion jockey Mark Du Plessis and Showjumping star Vicki Ridley, Cruze was back with a vengeance this start after being sidelined with a broken leg for the past few months.
