The New Zealand Racing Hall Of Fame Inductee Dinner got underway at SkyCity Hamilton tonight, and we spoke with Tom & Pat Lowry as Thomas Henry Lowry was inducted. A pioneering figure in New Zealand's racing and breeding industry, as the owner of Okawa Stud in Hawke's Bay, he transformed the property into one of the country's premier Thoroughbred nurseries. His most celebrated horse was the legendary mare Desert Gold.
