Nestled amongst beautiful leafy trees in Karaka you’ll find Brinks Polo - one of the largest polo operations in New Zealand. The farm is home to around 80 ponies of which most are either retired racehorses or are out of their best playing Thoroughbred mares who started their careers on the racetrack. A well known figure in New Zealand polo, Tony Van Den Brink and his family have been enjoying playing polo together for many years and with the help of Head Groom Theo Foilleret and team, have been able to enjoy polo at all levels aboard their incredibly talented OTTB’s.
