Trainer Stephen Marsh's pre-race concerns about the draw were quickly squashed as he watched his star mare Bourbon Empress peel around the home turn and assert her class in the Gr.2 Rich Hill Mile. From the famous Bourbon Lane Stable ownership group in partnership with a great group of owners, it was a fitting win for the 4YO daughter of Proisir to take out the Rich Hill Mile with jockey Matt Cartwright full of praise for his mount.
