Celebrate the festive season with Group One action at Trentham
The festive season is in full-swing around the country’s racecourses and RACE Trentham will celebrate their Christmas at the Races meeting in elite-level fashion, with Saturday’s TAB Mufhasa Classic Raceday.
With free entry to Trentham Racecourse, racegoers can elect to enjoy a merry day out with food, beverages and entertainment around the course, or if you’re looking for an upgrade, the club is offering several hospitality passes, including the Members Lounge Pass for just $30pp.
Members of RACE can reap the benefits of an Ultimate Members Lounge Pass, granting access to the Wellington Floor, lunch, a couple of free drinks and a $5 betting voucher to kick off the afternoon’s racing for $50pp. This ticket is also available to outside patrons for $80pp, the last of the hospitality available with such a popular response to this year’s event.
On the track, the Group One action will be a thriller with the $400,000 Gr.1 TAB Mufhasa Classic (1600m) staging some of our best weight-for-age milers, including the likes of La Crique, El Vencedor and One Bold Cat. The race is named in honour of a champion of the champagne turf, Mufhasa, who won the race (then known as the Captain Cook Stakes) in 2011, one of his 10 top-flight victories.
