27 years since her victory in the Gr.1 1000 Guineas, Tycoon Lil still remains one of the best winners of the feature filly race. Trained by the late great Colin Jillings, of her 20 race day appearances Tycoon Lil notched up eight wins, six of those black-type. Following her dominating Guineas win, she was beaten a length in the Gr.1 2000 Guineas four days later.
