Saturday's Listed New Zealand Bloodstock Canterbury Belle Stakes is fast approaching, and before the Riccarton feature, we look back to the 2012 edition of the fillies' feature, which was taken out in dominant fashion by Emerald Queen. The daughter of O'Reilly carried the familiar silks of the late Kevin Hickman ONZM & was prepared by Shane Kennedy & Anna Furlong, with the latter having Valachi Downs-bred filly Lil Zena entered in this year's contest.
