It was fantastic to see the colours of Ken & Ann Browne to the fore in Saturday's Bridges Insurance Services Pakuranga Hunt Cup at Te Rapa with the Peter & Jessica Brosnan-trained Ima Wonder. The daughter of the also Browne-bred and raced mare Ima Heroine, who won the same race in 2011 which led to a Great Northern Steeplechase success. Even better, Ken and Ann planted the steeplechase fences themselves, and were the first to jump them. Something we spoke to Mrs Browne about back in 2021.
