The Gr.1 1000 Guineas of 2019 was an outstanding one, with all three placegetters nabbing Group One success as three-year-olds. The Trelawney Stud filly Loire was ultra impressive in the Riccarton Park Racecourse feature, chasing down her talented rivals in style. Jennifer Eccles fought hard to the line, but would eventually find her Gr.1 glory in the New Zealand Oaks. While Travelling Light put on a sight out in front, her Gr.1 success would come in the Levin Classic.
