Unbeaten in her first four starts, Legarto was the first New Zealand trained filly to win the Australian Guineas. A Group One winner in both New Zealand and Australia, her wins included the Group One One Thousand Guineas, the Group Two Eight Carat Stakes and the Group Three Soliloquy Stakes.
